Changes To Our Out of Hours Service

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL OUR PATIENTS

Out of Hours services are available when your doctors’ surgery is closed.  Typically, Out of Hours services operate during the following times.

• Monday to Friday 18.30 to 08.00
• 24 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays
• 24 hours a day during Bank Holiday periods

Following a consultation held at the end of last year NHS Cambridgeshire will, in 3 months time, change the way we will receive our Out of Hours care and Walk-In services.

The Primary Care Trust plan would mean that patients from Whittlesey/Stanground would have to travel to Doddington Hospital in the evening and Huntingdon at the weekend

We as a practice do not feel that this is in the best interests of our patients and have made this known emphatically to the PCT.  Our concerns have been ignored.

If you do not want to travel to Doddington or Huntingdon to be seen by a doctor or nurse out of hours, and would like the current arrangements of going to Peterborough to remain in place, then please download this form  sign and return to the surgery.
